| Environmental Permitting Engineer | Responsible for ensuring that all federal, state, and local regulatory and permitting requirements have been met and adhered to. Manages the permit operations by leading a multi-disciplinary team to ensure proper coordination of all permit and regulatory applications ; ensures proper payment of permit fees; provide coordination with the building division's plan check staff, and other departments and divisions. Duties also include overseeing the preparation of development constraints, analyses, jurisdictional reports, environmental assessments, alternative analyses, environmental impact statements, and permit applications. | Environmental Remediation Engineer | Specializes in the design of urban environmental conditions and systems conductive to the preservation of public health. Designs and directs construction and operation of hygienic projects. Perform or supervise health related investigations, studies, and other engineering and regulatory activities involving domestic water supply, sewage disposal and waste water reuse, treatment systems, and a variety of related activities. | Geotechnical Engineer | Responsible for dam design and the construction of building foundations. Expert in soil properties, mechanics of soil properties, land reclamation, compression and swelling of soils, seepage, slopes, retaining walls, foundations, footings, ground and rock anchors, use of synthetic tensile materials in soil structures, soil-structure interaction and soil dynamics.
