Postal Services Worker Postal Services Worker will conduct provide postal services to the US DOD and Contractor population of deployed sites.
We are in the proposal stage, 12 month term. Middle East Locale
Requirements: High School graduate or GED equivalent preferred Two years experience in one or all of the following;
-General mail delivery/transporting services
-Be familiar with procedures used to move/transport and pack mail materials.
-Experience handling air cargo and be familiar with procedures used to move/transport and pack airline cargo containers.
-Be familiar with packing and moving air transport containers/Pallets
Issues that would preclude working in this position.
-No Conviction by court-martial, Punishment under UCMJ Article 15 (reference (ak)), Civil court conviction related to a theft or a financial or postal incident,
-Have no record of derogatory information or unfavorable conduct that casts doubt on the individual's trustworthiness and integrity,
-Have no history of psychiatric disorder, alcoholism, or drug abuse, unless a medical evaluation determines the condition no longer exists.
-Have not been relieved of postal duties for cause.
- Be a U.S. citizen if handling official Registered mail, and be eligible for a SECRET clearance (have an Entrance National Agency Check (ENTNAC) or National Agency Check (NAC) on file). . Ability to read and write English in order to read work orders and complete reports Experience training others preferred Ability to work independently A valid CD License Valid Passport from acceptable country (NOTE THERE IS REQUIREMENT FOR BOTH USN & TCN WORKERS) Pass a background check & drug screen Ability to work in a deployed environment |
